Just to let you know, I am confident that the information in the other thread was sufficient. To help someone quit whining I re posted just to make sure it goes through.
Braves send: Carlos Villanueva 2011 $3M in cap space for 08
Cardinals send: J.R. Towles (rookie 2008) 4th round pick in minor league draft

reds, you voted right? if so, please respond to this thread by approving this trade (unless you are giving it a zero of course).
also, from now on, unless the commish says otherwise, i think we should just say our number, so once the two of us have voted we know whether the deal is approved or not. i do think we should get a 3rd member on this thing at some point as well, but i guess we'll have to wait for that.

you misunderstood what i was saying. i wasn't criticizing you.
i was saying this...
did you vote? it looks like you might have voted, but i have no way of knowing if it was you or someone else voting which wouldn't count.
if you are the one who voted with me, then just let people know, because the commish isn't here to let us know.
if you hadn't voted, then any vote other than zero will mean the deal is approved.
so just officially approve the deal if you already voted OR if you are going to vote anything other than zero.
that's all.
in my opinion, there is nothing wrong with a zero. as i see it a zero means, veto the deal. a 1 or 2 means that if the other trade committee people (person) thinks it is a zero, then it can get vetoed. anything higher than that, basically means you approved the deal completely and without question. the system is a little weird, but that is how i see and that is why i vote zero occasionally. i wasn't accusing you of voting zero, but i do think you ought to vote zero if you think the deal is bad enough to veto.
